Zero Pilnik (they/them) is a non-binary Brazilian actor. They are based in Berlin, where they moved after graduating from the acting school at California Institute of the Arts acting in the United States. Zero's curriculum spans a wide range of projects, from working in theaters such as Ballhaus Ost, Volksbühne, and Maxim Gorki, to roles in television and film productions such as The Trouble Out There (Philadelphia Women's Film Festival, 2024), Bad Influencer (SWR, 2024), Colônia (Canal Brasil, 2025), and Eldorado - Everything the Nazis Hate (Netflix, 2023). Zero authored several stage and screenplays, most of which they also performed in, including Matter (short film, 2022), Gasoline Queen (musical, 2022), and Brutes (TV Pilot, in development). They are the recipient of the 2017 Tim Disney Prize for Excellence in Storytelling Arts as well as multiple fellowships in recognition of their performance work.
