Annika Gräslund was born in Berlin in 1998 and grew up bilingual in a German-Swedish family. From an early age, she showed a strong interest in acting, music, and visual arts. She gained her first stage experience in youth theater groups, took piano and cello lessons, and sang in several children's choirs.

From 2016 to 2020, she studied Art History and Northern European Studies at Humboldt University of Berlin. During this time, she was an active soloist in the university’s chamber choir. Her passion for theater remained unwavering, leading her to pursue a degree in acting at the University of Music and Theatre Rostock after completing her bachelor's degree.

There, she was awarded the Deutschlandstipendium for two consecutive years, as well as scholarships from the Dr. Herbert and Anne-Marie Lembcke Ad Infinitum Foundation and the Rahe Family Foundation. Annika Gräslund has already been invited to various festivals and also performs in independent projects. Since 2024, she has been completing her studio year at the Mecklenburg State Theatre in Schwerin as a scholarship recipient of the Academy of Music and Performing Arts at HMT Rostock.
