In cinema, he has worked with David Yates in Sex Traffic and played Dolohov in Harry Potter and The Order of Phoenix and in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
He also played Marko de Tropoja in Pierre Morel's Taken, and with Jean-Pierre Ameris in the adaptation of Victor Hugo's The Man who laughs. He also made his name by working with Tony Gatliff on his Liberté, a drama about the fate of a Gypsy family during the Second World War. A period he found again on Sarah's Key by Gilles Pacquet-Brenner.  
Recently, he had the lead role in The Shelter among the clouds (Cinequest Film Festival 2019-Global Vision Award, San Jose, Best Actor PriFilm Fest 2019) and played Andreï Kowalski in Nicholas Boukrief's Trois jours et une vie. He also played the Piper in the Anthony Waller's  adapation of brothers Grimm tale, in Jeremy Guez second feature KANUN, as well as in Pierre Morel's CANARY BLACK. 
On television, he played Vladimir Komarov in the French science fiction series Missions (broadcast by BBC4, AMC, TF1 series films, OCS, Rai Uno, etc.). He also participated in the series Call my agent (France 2), as well as the Spanish series Nasdrovie (Moviestar), the Swiss series Helvetica, (Best French-language series, La Rochelle 2019) and in Besa, created by Tony Jordan, already a cult TV series broadcasted in several Western Balkans countries for which he was nominated as Best Actor in Sarajevo Film Festival, 2022.
