Bio

Armin Amiri is an actor, writer, director and producer.
                               
He currently stars in the upcoming season of the HBO Max hit series “And Just Like That” and also leads the cast in the upcoming Indie feature The Last Act by director Shahab Hosseini.
 
Armin got his break into film with a critically acclaimed performance in the Indie feature film  “Factory Girl” directed by George Hickenlooper and opposite Guy Pearce and Sienna Miller.  Other film credits include a supporting lead role in the psychological thriller, The Night, from director Kourosh Ahari currently available on IFC Midnight, Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler opposite Mickey Rourke, Septembers of Shiraz with Salma Hayek and Adrian Brody,  “Reservation Road“ opposite Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Ruffalo from director Terry George with whom he again teamed up with when he joined the cast of “The Promise” opposite Christian Bale and Oscar Isaacs. Notable works in television include roles in On The Verge for Studio Canal/Netflix opposite Julie Delpy and Elisabeth Shue, the Epix series, Deep State, opposite Mark Strong and NCIS: New Orleans among others.  He is also starting as a lead on a horror film best on a book the blind owl  shooting in Canada 

 
He recently wrote, directed and produced the film Dear Albert which has received many accolades and awards at Film Festivals worldwide, including Rome, Tokyo, Istanbul and Sweden.

Born in Tehran, Iran, Armin fled his home country to seek political asylum in Vienna, Austria whereby he made his way to America and studied acting at ACT in San Francisco and later at The Actors Studio In New York City.  Armin currently resides in Los Angeles.
