Caterina is an Italian actress based in London, holding dual Italian–UK citizenship. She trained in acting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and the Identity School of Acting (IDSA). With a professional background in contemporary dance and choreography (BA (Hons) at Trinity Laban; Jasmin Vardimon Company), she is now expanding her creative portfolio as a movement director for theatre and Film.
She also maintains a second base in Rome, where she regularly travels for in-person castings and to strengthen her network within the film and television industry. Caterina is passionate about developing characters through a deep understanding of physical language, and she enjoys translating the devising process from stage to screen. This exploration has also sparked her growing interest in directing.
While focusing on collaborating with emerging filmmakers, her passion for theatre remains central to her artistic path. Most recently, she returned from Shenzhen, China, where she performed in The Deal—a large-scale immersive production directed by Amit Lahav, Artistic Director of Gecko Theatre. This experience proved both creatively and personally enriching, and Caterina is now looking forward with excitement to the opportunities that 2026 will bring.
