LIFE AND FAMILY
Cengiz B'Yasin grew up with his small extended family on the borderlands of Allgäu: as one of the first guest workers and large families in Kempten, he grew up as the oldest grandchild, with his closest family members being his sister, mother, and father. Born in 1992, he belongs to the German-Turks who are growing up amidst the ongoing transformation of integration, known for the many nations in Germany, experiencing a cultural shift. The results are visible, and he fully embraces them.
THE ART
After completing his schooling, Cengiz seizes the opportunity to turn his hobby into a profession and starts his apprenticeship as a vehicle painter, later indulging in the airbrush scene with his graffiti skills. He undergoes additional training with a freelance artist and completes it in 2015 as a stonemason and stone sculptor. It was during his training that Cengiz discovered improvisational theater.
MOTIVATION
In a place where evaluations lose their value, rules become redundant, and there is no big/small, fat/thin, or black/white, many people long for that. Peace in the world, in their environment, and within themselves. This is a topic that will occupy people for a long time, perhaps even forever. It is also a significant theme for Cengiz, a lover of philosophy and wisdom. While researching in acting for concrete answers, Cengiz embarks on a journey as a researcher, delving into the lives of scripts, theater plays, stories, and characters until all the answers are found.
