Former National Champion cheerleading coach, Chanel Quesnel first made her acting debut in 2009. After earning her undergraduate degree at the University of the West Indies she went on to perform with many notable production companies in Trinidad, including Residency at The National Theater Arts Company of Trinidad and Tobago. She completed her Masters degree in Acting at one of the top art schools in the world; Drama Center London, at Central Saint Martins (University of the Arts London). Her training also allowed her the opportunity to attend the prestigious Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute in Moscow, Russia where she trained in the Stanislavsky and Vakhtangov techniques. Today she uses her technical skills in performance and applies it to her passion for Caribbean cultural development as an Actor/Director and Event Coordinator. Using creative art methods and practices as a foundation for education and entrepreneurship, she has performed in and staged productions and events for companies such as: The National Theater Arts company of Trinidad and Tobago, Raymond Choo Kong Productions, Teatro Journee ,New Fire Festival, Crowns and Sashes TT,  Filmco, trinidad+tobago film festival and wOw Events, and Spirit Mas Ltd. She has also had the pleasure of collaborating with international companies: Flute Theater & Kelly Hunter (MBE) and Pursued by a Bear & Trestle Arts Base. Chanel launched her own NGO called "Village Wallawah" back in 2021; bridging culture and entrepreneurship, all the while continuing her work as a professional actor and budding director/writer.
