Charlotte Taschen is an actress, martial artist and producer born in Köln, Germany, now residing in Los Angeles. Charlotte is best known for her roles in In Max We Trust (2021), Velvet Buzzsaw (2019) and Die Habenichtse (2016). She has a recurring role in the TV show MINX, and is currently in production — acting and producing — on Bad Painter (2024), starring Udo Kier. Aside from her native languages, English and German, Taschen speaks French, Spanish, and some Dutch. Taschen excels in voice acting and lends her voice to numerous commercials, narrative and dubbing work in the USA and Germany.  She holds a black belt in Taekwondo (and trains in other martial arts, including Jiu-Jutsu, Kutaekado) and won a Best Actress award for her role as the kickass hostess in the martial arts short, The Cocktail Party (2021). Taschen is currently in production, acting and producing, on Bad Painter (2024) in Los Angeles directed by German painter Albert Oehlen. The film is starring Udo Kier, with Taschen, Grace Zabriskie and Kim Gordon in supporting roles.
