Hi 👋🏼 I'm Chris Ashworth. I'm from the state of Virginia in the United States. I'm based out of Los Angeles, CA. I've been blessed to work for a couple of decades in film and television. My "start" came on HBO's THE WIRE, in which I played the Ukrainian enforcer Sergei Malatov, aka 'The Russian' or 'Boris'. I've often played characters with different accents than my native southern accent. I guest-starred on ELEMENTARY and THE BLACKLIST as Russian characters, Doron Kolobkov and Sankov, respectively. I recurred over two seasons on THE WIRE, but also recurred on Amazon's SNEAKY PETE and BOSCH as well as THE RESIDENT and UNDERGROUND. I've guest-starred on quite a few other shows. Some of my hobbies are muay-thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, fishing, hunting, and most things outdoors. I'm currently working on bettering my Spanish and Russian speaking/reading abilities.
