My theater journey started when I attended a Drama workshop while studying Engineering at Bilkent University. For the first time, I felt like I belonged somewhere, being on stage was like breathing under water, I met a different life. I knew that if I did not follow this feeling, I would regret it all my life, so I left school against my family and went to Istanbul. I started living on a theater stage and prepared for conservatory exams. During this period, I worked as a theater worker and thanks to my engineering knowledge, I learned a lot about light-sound-direction. When it became clear that we could not perform our graduation play due to Covid, my friends and I extended the school for 1 year, staged the play with our own means and graduated.If you randomly call one of the numbers on my phone and ask what Efe is like, the answer you will get (except for my father) is relaxed, fun and cheerful. I like to improve myself, I embrace change, I am disciplined. I can adapt to a group and provide guidance at the same time. I acted in the theater and in short and feature-length festival films. I play guitar and drums, I usually listen to metal/rock and classical music. I like to spend my time in nature, camping, exploring isolated bays, hiking/climbing. To increase my daily motivation, I start the day with yoga and meditation, go to the gym and play tennis whenever I have time. I really enjoy learning new languages. English is like my native language, and I am currently at B1 level in German. I read art and psychology books. I follow cinema, theater and music festivals. I love observing people.
