I came to Canada at age of 17 with two suitcases and a whole lot of dreams. It took me some time before I gained enough courage to pursue my dream of devoting my life to story telling. Story telling played a very special part in my life as a girl who grew up in a country going through collapse and then rebirth. Dreaming in that reality was impossible but whenever I would turn on a Disney cartoon, I felt that magic of hope and dreams and beauty and bright colours. With every cell of my body I believe in the power of film and I would love to do for others what storytelling did for me.
