Ellen Schlootz is an actress, lives in Berlin and stood on a theatre stage for the first time at the age of five.

After a performance, while eating pizza on the stairs, her first milk tooth fell out, and that was the moment she decided to become an actress.

In her youth, she acted at the municipal theatres in Frankfurt/Main in the pupils' club, went to Berlin to study acting at the UdK after a year of art studies in Bordeaux, and then acted at the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus and the Deutsches Theater Berlin as a permanent ensemble member.

Since 2001 she has also been shooting for cinema and television.
