Katelijne Verbeke is a seasoned Belgian (Flemish) actress born on 27 October 1961 in Gent. She studied theatre at Studio Herman Teirlinck and has since built a robust career across television, film and theatre.

She is known for her compelling performances in television series such as Flikken, Witse, Loslopend Wild and De Dag. On the big screen she has featured in films such as Dossier K (2009) and The Best of Dorien B. (2019).

Her work has been recognized with nominations for top theatre and film awards - for example, a Theo d’Or nomination in 1995 for her role in Agathá, and a Gouden Kalf nomination for Best Female Lead in the film Ongenade (1997).
