Mateusz Wardyński, also known by his stage name asthma, is a Polish actor, vocalist,
and lyricist. Throughout his career,
asthma has collaborated with notable artists such as KRS-One, 1988, HAŁASTRA,
Miętha, Łajzol, Kacha, and Rosalie. Together with Rosalie, he co-wrote lyrics for her
latest album.
In 2021, asthma made his debut with the album “manifest,” earning the Lech Polish
Hip-Hop Music Awards for “Discovery of the Year.” His track “centrala” topped the
Radio Kampus charts in the “same sztosy 2020” category. Following two years of
work, he released his second album, “nowe życie,” in May 2023.
Additionally, asthma made his acting debut in the third season of the series “Belfer.”
His authored poems became part of the show’s script. As a redactor, he worked at
newonce, co-hosting the program “träsh täp3s.”
