Niclas Rohrwacher is a German actor, podcaster & publisher.

Life

He spent most of his youth on the sports field, where he played field hockey in the 2nd Bundesliga, among others. After graduating from high school, he attended St. John's School in Houston (USA).

He was then accepted at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst "Ernst Busch" in Berlin, where he studied acting.

Roles

This was followed by theater engagements at the Schaubühne Berlin & Maxim Gorki Theater. He played his first small film role in "Suite Francaise" alongside Michelle Williams. In 2019, he took on the role of Corbinian in "4 Blocks." In 2020, he starred in the series "Ausgebremst" with Jasna Fritzi Bauer & Maria Furtwängler. In 2021, he appeared in the episode "Säure" on Soko Leipzig. He is regularly in front of the camera in the children's series format "Niclas & Taneshia" (already 2 seasons).

Entrepreneurial activity

In 2015, Rohrwacher - together with his partners - founded Factory Berlin. This developed into Germany's largest startup campus. In 2017, Rohrwacher accompanied German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier as a representative of the German startup scene on his inaugural visit to Israel.

In 2018, he established Mentor Verlag, which won the 2021 German Publishing Award. Author*s include Ronja von Rönne, Jimmy Kimmel, and Academy Award winners Natalie Portman & Lupita Nyong'o. Among the best known material is "The Mindful Tiger", which celebrated its musical premiere at the Tivoli in Hamburg. In 2022 Rohrwacher founded Tiger & Zitrone - a media house for children's entertainment.

In spring 2023, his podcast "PAPAS" was released. Rohrwacher lives with his family in Berlin.
