Like most native Bavarians that grew up on a farm, I have a dog who probably thinks they’re the star of my life. When I’m not binge-watching Star Trek or Disney films and anime, you  find me happily devouring anything that involves rice, bread, or noodles—basically, I’m 90% carbs. My favorite desserts? Hot chocolate and coffee. 

Sports, I’m proud to say I can hold a handstand for a minute, though the recovery time afterward might tell a different story. I keep fit with a strict workout routine, balance it all out with an unhealthy obsession with Excel spreadsheets (they bring me joy). I’m also one of those people who can hyperfocus for hours—whether it’s reading, poems, sonnets, research papers about sustainable development, or beauty innovations for a skin glow. Love it.

Before becoming a full-time artist, I had a “serious” job working with the program of the SIY Global Institute for Emotional Intelligence, (Certified) a neuroscience-based program born at Google. Fancy, right? It let me travel the world to amazing places like London, Prague, Los Angeles, Hawaii, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. I felt like a real-life Where’s Waldo. After that, I co-published a mental health workbook for children.

You’ll know acting teachers love giving you cryptic or sharp knife advice like, “Do your work to stay inspired. Do the Drama, Period! ” Took me two years to figure it out. Finally got a glimpse, wrote my first Idea for a film—a story about  mixed signals we all get and give. You know, the kind where you’re left wondering, Are we going to the movies, or are we getting married? I found a British actor/writer, Melodie Karcsewski she wrote the script for Gasoline. 

My acting teachers, Marina Rigueira, Adam Davenport, and Lorenzo Patané were right: staying creative between projects is key. And if I’ve learned anything from them, it’s this: “Don’t try to fit in; you already belong. Just tell the story you want to tell—and maybe, don’t forget to eat a snack and drink enough water.”
