Philipp grew up in the tranquil town of Oldenburg in Lower Saxony.

As the son of an Irish mother and a German father, he meandered his way through school without any major problems until his A-levels, before setting off into the big wide world as quickly as possible. 
He was driven to his second home country, Ireland, where he joined the Belfast Community Circus School to learn vital skills such as juggling, acrobatics and clowning.
In the early 2000s, he moved to Berlin and performed in several theatres there (including the local English-language theatre "Friends of Italian Opera").
Philipp lives in Munich now.
