Rita Rocha Silva is from a small town in the north of Portugal and she went to Lisbon to become an actress. In 2015 she graduated from the Theater and Cinema University in Lisbon, and she has lived there for ten years. In theater she has worked with Ana Borralho and João Galante, Miguel Moreira and Romeu Runa, João Garcia Miguel, Mário Coelho, Tónan Quito, Maria João Luís, Jorge Silva Melo, Alex Cassal, Tiago Vieira, Pedro Carraca, Pedro aptista. In cinema, with Tiago Guedes, Mário Barroso, João Botelho, Luís Galvão Teles, Pedro Cabeleira. In dance, with Aldara Bizarro. She did several dance workshops with Vera Mantero, Francisco Camacho, Peter Michael Dietz, Lara Guidetti, Yael Karavan.
In 2022 she was nominated for Best Theater Actress at the Golden Globes.
