Born in Taipei Taiwan and raised in Auckland New Zealand, RitaKahn Chen graduated in Performing Arts from ACA Sydney Australia in 2008. She forged the first part of her career in an Aussie accent, which she eventually and reluctantly morphed into a neutral down-under accent as her own. She has performed in a range of theatre productions, internationally screened television commercials, and successful short films, 

RitaKahn has successfully taken on the roles of producer, director, and art director for a number of short films. Since 2012, she has made Berlin as her base but traveled to China extensively working as a Fixer and as a Production Assistant on TV game shows.

She created, wrote, produced, and hosted Urban Cravings; a cultural travel show that - did not see the light of day after a pilot was shot in Berlin in 2021- a show using Food as the gateway to engage with what is buzzing and bubbling within an urban setting.

Not wishing to become an idol actor, she initiated a proactive journey by co-founding Off Broadway Berlin alongside like-minded actors who shared her admiration for exceptional writing, both on screen and stage. Together, they formed an ensemble in 2023 dedicated to infusing their collective passion into their work, exploring narratives that resonate with the complexities of the human condition. 

Since returning to acting, she has been cast in various high-budget car brand videos including commercials. She recently wrapped up shooting for two episodes in an AppleTV+ sci-fi series, the details of which remain shrouded in confidentiality due to a non-disclosure agreement.
