Sofia Sousa is a Portuguese actress, producer and puppeteer based in Prague and Lisbon. She has worked on several Portuguese television series and has recently started acting in international projects such as the Czech film Cool Girl; the American feature film The Devil Conspiracy and the American TV series Last Light, broadcast on Prime Video; she presented and was the scriptwriter of the webshow Curtas, about Portuguese independent cinema; she has been the face of many advertisements around the world, highlighting the 2020 Super Bowl Commercial for Heinz, and now featuring Elmex. She is the founder of the puppet theater company A Fantochada, where she staged and performed. She is a partner of the FREESAM company since 2021 where she produces documentaries, and she is co-creator of NU'VEM- Artistic Residencies, in the Azores. In her spare time, she is a travel addict, practices yoga, scuba diving and plays the cello.
