Teisha comes from a lineage of Ukrainian and German refugees, raised in Australia, Teisha was a successful dancer and model before transitioning to acting. She has worked on national tvc's and many short films. Her latest short film Habitat, which she also produced, has been a festival hit, playing at 27 international film festivals and gaining numerous award nominations. For her performance, Teisha won Best Actress award at the Venice Film Awards, Berlin Indie FF, Stockholm City FF, Berlin Short FF, Boden International FF, New York Independent Cinema Awards and the 8 & HalFilm Awards Rome.
