Valeria Varbanova, aged 23, was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, and studied at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts “Krastyo Sarafov”. 
Her debut performance took place in Milko Lazarov’s recent film Tarika.  Valeria is Talents Sarajevo Allumni from Acting Studio 2024 in the programme of Sarajevo Film Festival.

Valeria has worked on several short and feature films and participated in over ten theatre plays. Currently, she is taking part in Apocryphal directed by Ivan Dobchev and Mahamaya Electronic Devices directed by Lyuba Todorova at the Sfumato Theatre Laboratory.

In 2023, Valeria earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, completing four years of acting training under professor Ivan Dobchev's guidance. Before that, she spent over five years taking various acting classes. Additionally, Valeria graduated from the National School of Music “Lyubomir Pipkov” where she developed her skills as a professional folklore singer.
