The actor Neven Pilipović, born in what is now Croatia, had his breakthrough in 2017 with the documentary THE SLAVS – OUR MYSTERIOUS ANCESTORS, a co-production between ARD and arte. In 2018, Neven appeared in the Wiesbaden episode of TATORT (ATTACK ON PRECINCT 08), directed by Thomas Stuber, and took on a role in the Netflix series THE LAST WORD alongside Anke Engelke.

Neven completed a three-year acting course at the European Theatre Institute Berlin. He also holds degrees from the Berlin School of Economics and Law and the London School of Economics and Political Science. During his studies, he worked in Sweden and Nicaragua. He now resides in Berlin. Among his current projects is the Sky Atlantic series SOULS. In 2021, Neven appeared in the first season of the RTL+ series NIHAT – ALLES AUF ANFANG. He later joined the fourth season of BRASSIC, one of the most popular British comedy series, which aired in 2023 on Sky Max UK and Hulu US.

For a film project by the Babelsberg Film University Konrad Wolf in collaboration with the University of North Carolina (directed by Marlon Whigham), Neven showcased his musical talent in HUNGRY GHOSTS in 2023. That same year, he took on the role of secret agent Bengt Koeppen in the international ARD/WDR series THE SECOND ASSASSINATION, directed by Barbara Eder.

In 2024, Neven achieved another career milestone by playing the lead role of Alejandro Sánchez in the miniseries IRONY OF FATE, directed by Portuguese filmmaker Chantal Coutinho. Additionally, he became the face of a new global campaign for Daimler Truck, playing the lead in a high-profile advert directed by Maximilian Buck. Produced by 5ter Stock Medienproduktion, the campaign will be broadcast worldwide until the end of 2025.

Neven’s versatility as an actor is evident in his wide range of TV productions, as well as his participation in artistically ambitious and experimental film projects.
