Der Sohn einer deutschen Mutter und eines italienischen Vaters, Giovanni Morassutti, in vollem Umfang Giovanni Enrico Morassutti, ist Schauspieler, Regisseur und Kulturunternehmer und lebt derzeit in Berlin. Er wurde in Padua (1980) geboren und studierte Schauspiel und Regie, seit er als Teenager sich der Arbeit der realistischen Schule näherte, zuerst mit Susan Strasberg, dann als Auditor im Actors Studio in New York, als Schüler von Salem Ludwig an der HB Studio (2001) und dann mit John Strasberg, mit dem er jetzt als Assistent und Koordinator für seine Workshops in Berlin arbeitet. In Amerika arbeitete Giovanni mit Ellen Stewart, der Gründerin von La Mama e.t.c. Ted Mornel, Kathleen M. Wilce, Jordan Mattos und Gus Van Sant. In Italien wurde er nach seinem Abschluss an der Nationalen Filmschule in Rom unter der Regie des Schauspielers Giancarlo Giannini (2008) in verschiedenen Rollen in Theater- und Filmproduktionen besetzt. Parallel zu seiner Arbeit als Schauspieler unterrichtete er mehrere Workshops auch zum Thema Englisch. Seine letzte Arbeit als Regisseur ist die Theaterproduktion von Madre sin Panuelo von Jorge Palant, die von der argentinischen Botschaft gesponsert und im Herbst 2015 in Rom und Mailand präsentiert wurde. In Berlin (2018) wurde er vorerst von inszeniert Daniela Lucato, die bei der 71. Ausgabe der Filmfestspiele von Cannes vorgestellt wurde. (2020) Er arbeitet unter anderem an der Postproduktion seines ersten Dokumentarfilms Personal Dream Space.

Son of a German mother and Italian father, Giovanni Morassutti, in full Giovanni Enrico Morassutti, is an actor, director, and cultural entrepreneur currently living in Berlin, Germany. He was born in Padua (1980) and studied acting and directing since he was a teenager approaching the work of the realistic school first with Susan Strasberg , then as an auditor at the Actors Studio in New York, as a student of Salem Ludwig at the HB studio (2001) and then with John Strasberg with whom now works as an assistant and coordinator for his workshops in Berlin. In America, Giovanni worked with Ellen Stewart founder of La Mama e.t.c. , Ted Mornel, Kathleen M. Wilce, Jordan Mattos and Gus Van Sant. In Italy, after graduating from the National Film School in Rome directed by actor Giancarlo Giannini (2008) , he got cast in several roles in theatre and film productions. Parallel to his work as an actor he has been teaching several workshops also on acting in English. His last work as a director is the theatre production of Madre sin Panuelo by Jorge Palant sponsored by the Argentian Embassy and presented in Rome and Milan in the fall of 2015. In Berlin (2018), he was cast in For the time being directed by Daniela Lucato that was presented at the 71st edition of the Cannes Film Festival.
