I grew up with an artistic background: My mother is a full-time repertory actress trained in the Salzburg Mozarteum; my father and grandfather, both professional musicians. Growing up bilingually by having an English stepfather helped me to become at home in two different languages and cultures. I am glad that I had the courage to apply and the luck to be accepted to train at two of the leading addresses in the UK. The privilege of growing up with, so to say, both Schiller and Shakespeare grants me a perspective that goes beyond national borders.
